Product name: Dibutyltin dilaurate

 

Uses.

Light yellow or colourless liquid, white crystals at low temperature

1) Stabilizer and lubricant for PVC products. Soft transparent products or semi-soft products, with barium stearate, cadmium stearate and other metal soaps or epoxy compounds with good lubricity, transparency, weatherability, compatibility with plasticizers, no frosting, no sulphur pollution, no adverse effects on heat bonding and printability. For example: soft film, soft sheet, plastic shoes, hose and PVC conveyor belt. It can be used in hard products as organic tin with maleic acid or thiol system organic tin to improve the flow of resin material.

2) Used as catalyst and foam activator in polyurethane foam and silicone rubber synthesis materials.

3) Used as a catalyst for synthesis in various adhesives.

4) Widely used in polyurethane foams, elastomers, adhesives, sealants and room temperature curing silicone systems.

 

Storage.

Room temperature, protected from light, ventilated and dry place, sealed and stored

 

Transport.

Store in sealed containers and in a cool, dry place. The storage area must be locked and the key must be given to the technical experts and their assistants. The storage area must be kept away from oxidising agents and away from water.

Packaged in universal plastic and plastic sprayed iron or glass containers and transported according to general chemical regulations.

Packaging.

Packaging: glass containers, plastic containers, metal vessels resistant to chlorine corrosion are preferable for storage in sealed containers. Store in a cool, dry place, keep the container sealed and avoid contact with oxides. Do not breathe dust and avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. No smoking, eating or drinking in the workplace. Shower and change clothes after work. Store contaminated clothing separately and wash before use. Maintain good hygiene practices.
