Overview:

N-formylmorpholine (NFM) is an important organic solvent and fine chemical raw material. It is colorless and transparent liquid at room temperature. It has the chemical property of amide, and its aqueous solution can be easily hydrolyzed into morpholine and formic acid under the condition of acid or alkali, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline.

N-formyl morpholine is an excellent extraction solvent for the production of aromatic hydrocarbons, and is widely used in synthetic fibers and other fields.

Uses:

Used for desulfurization of natural gas, synthesis gas, flue gas, natural gas condensate and gasoline, etc.; it is the extraction solvent of petroleum aromatics device and can be used for recovery of aromatics by extractive distillation, which has good selectivity, thermal and chemical stability, non-toxicity and non-corrosion. It is a widely used solvent for recovering aromatics. It is an excellent non-protonic solvent with high solubility and selectivity for aromatics, and its mixtures have been successfully used in aromatics extraction process and butene thickening process.
